These plants were souvenir gifts from a wedding. They were packed in small bags made of native material. The note inside the little bags was telling the receiver to take care of the plants as these were sign of their undying love for each other.
If the plants grow, their love will flourish.
Really, these plants don't remind me of the newly wed's love but of 2 souls who are resting in peace already.
The first one, actually had almost its first anniversary in peace. He was a relative. He died last year at age 37. He was married with 2 kids. He suffered a sudden death. May he continually rest in peace.
The other one was very recent. She was also married with kids. She was not a relative but was connected through friends and relatives. She died with cancer. I believe she was in agony for a few months before she faced peace. She died almost a week ago.
Both of these people died in July. One, last year, the other just this year. One died fast, the other slow. One died without a warning, the other died with enough time to prepare. Both were married with kids.
--------
Okay, stop, stop! The plants remind me of new life, hope, love and okay..... of the newly weds.
