Expiration Dates

I don't know if I am only being obsessive-compulsive or what. I have this craving for a certain chocolate brand available locally but I didn't buy it. Why? Because of expiration date.

You know I've been checking on expiration dates on products I buy in the supermarket. I don't know why some products sometimes don't have the "best before" seal on them. Though sometimes there are production codes marked on them or manufacturing dates, I still look for the EXPIRATION DATE.

I most of the time sacrifice the product brand for these expiry seals. Either I buy another brand or another product in replacement for the product I like that doesn't wear its expiry seal.

Am I just being OC? Or am I a conscious buyer?

About the chocolates? Well, I bought a different brand instead of the brand I really craved for. That's how meticulous I can get when we talk on expiration dates on products.
