Aging Is Eating Up My Neurons

Am I really getting older?

I can't believe it, I got a problem recently about an account I have over the internet. The story goes like this:

I changed my password to one of my accounts to secure it (yeah I'm quite paranoid these days). I made up a word that only me and my blanket know (LOL). Alright, so I entered my account and successfully accessed it. Then I logged out from it. Again, I tried accessing it after a "FEW SECONDS." But to my surprise, my new password didn't work!!! Then I retyped.... respelled.... until I got confused! What was my password?!!!

So I accessed my profile for the system to send me a generated password from FORGOT PASSWORD tab. Then it showed: ANSWER TO YOUR SECRET QUESTION: then I typed and CLICKED ENTER! It didn't work!!! What's happening with me? I forgot everything!


I called the hotline for that account and requested for anything that would allow me to enter my account again. It took me 1 whole day to receive that answer to my secret question for me to change my forgotten password. Oh my! IT WAS THE SAME ANSWER I HAVE TYPED over and over again that granted me no access to change my password!

Anyway, I still typed it and clicked on ENTER. To my dismay, it didn't work again!

I called the hotline again and I said it didn't work. However, while talking to the customer support, I am retyping the answer to my secret question, but this time I used my mouse and clicked on SUBMIT button on my screen rather than the ENTER key on my keyboard..... then ALAS! IT WORKED! I thanked the customer support and I said it was my bad.

I successfully changed my forgotten password and got access to my account again.

Was it my brain? Or my age? Or both?

Darn.
